Community / Sponsorship Request Form
At Giant Tiger, we pride ourselves in taking an active part in the communities we serve. As a result, a large number of our sponsorships are geared to community related events. We are also strong supporters of local causes and charitable organizations.
Our priorities are to support:
- Children and youth;
- Community initiatives;
- Families in crisis;
- Seniors and persons with disabilities.
As we continue to grow and gain more exposure, requests for sponsorships are numerous and must be managed and assessed fairly. Proposals and requests are assessed on the basis of their nature and the opportunities they present for positive exposure and promotion of the Giant Tiger brand.
Requests for sponsorships are usually forwarded to the store(s) serving the community where the event will take place or from which the request originates. With this in mind, it may be worthwhile for you to consider approaching our stores directly. It is Giant Tiger's policy that our stores consider support of local causes and programs as part of our grass-roots community involvement. Note that our stores will only accept written requests.
All requests must be submitted by filling out an Application For Sponsorship. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for review and assessment. If you are submitting your application in person at a store in your community, simply print out the form instead of forwarding it to us.
Proposals must be submitted annually. Ongoing support should not be assumed.
