On May 27, Giant Tiger presented the Kingston General Hospital Foundation with a gift of $200,000 for use in the KGH’s new pediatric wing. The funds are to be used to purchase equipment and furnishings for the critical care unit that was constructed recently. The space has wonderful features including individual rooms for all patients, which is a much better environment for infection control and provides greater privacy and security for the children and their families.
