The receiver is responsible for the entry point of the store. This would include receiving all fashion merchandise, ensuring the accuracy of the shipments and proper flow of the merchandise to the sales floor. This position will be of interest to energetic individuals who are able to work well on their own, are self motivated and attentive to details.

Responsibilities would include:

• Receipt and verification of daily shipments
• Preparation of fashion for the sales floor through ticketing and hanging to Giant Tiger standards
• Completion and entering of any store transfers/claims/returns to vendor items
• Ordering of stockroom supplies
• Handling of damaged and defective products
• Daily recovery and maintenance of the stockroom
