Executive Assistant Human Resources - Ottawa, Ontario

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will be assisting in the implementation of several employee programs related to the recruitment of new employees, on-boarding, training and staff recognition. Your bilingual communication skills will enable you to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.   • Administer and promote employee programs
  • Manage the Employee Recognition program
  • Assist in the preparation of job descriptions and associate development reviews
  • Manage the vacation/attendance program
  • Answer general customer inquiries

Job Requirements

  • 5 years experience as an Executive Assistant or Human Resources Assistant
  • Advanced computer skills in Word, Excel and MS Access
  • Verbal and written proficiency in French and English
  • Strong communication skills to be able to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment
  • Experience managing and posting information on an Intranet site using Dreamweaver is an asset
