Hardgoods Supervisor - NEW store

The newest location in Collingwood, ON is expected to open in September 2010. We will be located at 190 Saint Marie Street. Supervisors are responsible for the overall operations of a successful store. Their main focus is the “traffic driving†grocery departments. This is an ideal career opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their daily/weekly activities and who is motivated to achieve great results.
Job Highlights
- Making buying decisions that tailor the product assortment to the store’s customer base
- Managing the grocery, health & beauty and household cleaning departments
- Buying, merchandising and replenishment of products in the Grocery Departments
- Training, coaching and supervising associates.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience within a retail environment, ideally in grocery
- Great organization and analytical skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong merchandising skills
- A proven motivator
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
