Payroll Administrator - Ottawa, Ontario

As a Payroll Administrator on the Giant Tiger team, you will be responsible for Store payroll, Government remittances and various other related duties. You will play a crucial role in supporting the Manager of our Payroll Department achieve objectives enabling Giant Tiger to grow and develop. This is an exciting and unique role that provides the opportunity for you to combine several skill sets in a fast paced and dynamic environment. You will demonstrate your ability to be a team player in our endeavor to attain excellence in the work place.
Job Highlights
- Process Payroll for multiple locations
- Workers Compensation, CRA & Manitoba Payroll tax remittances and reconciliation
- Communicate with all levels of employees as well as outside organizations in matters relating to payroll
- Year end processing (T4’s, R1’s)
Job Requirements
- 2-3 years of payroll experience in a multi provincial setting
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office/Excel/Outlook
- Initiative
- Strong organizational skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail a must
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Related diploma or degree an asset
- Experience with Group Benefit Plans an asset
- Bilingual (English and French a must)
